you have an wonderful imagination I think the face on the horse on the far left is a bit off but I love it because it gives it this really cute expression. The detail in the sea horses and sea dragons is striking and I really love the marble on the end of the chain of the pocket watch, and the baby sea horse catching a ride on it. The wimsy of it is great and the way you combine the worlds of water and wind is truely beautiful. Keep up the great art!

When you told me about the horseshoe crab in this painting I had to come straight over to check it out. I think the piece is awesome and it's great that you worked in a lesser known creature that is related to the word "horse". Too bad I wasn't perceptive enough to notice it when I first saw the piece. Of course coming back and seeing it made me want to look for more horse-related details though I didn't find any. Is there any significance to the pocket watch? Just wondering. Anyway, I love these play-on-words type pieces that you have in your gallery and this one is definitely a favorite. They're like something I might do if I had the talent and/or the imagination. Well, as with much of the work I comment on, I see no need for critique here so you are left with a comment of complete and utter (though entirely sincere) fluff :). Hope you enjoyed this long comment and keep up the great work!

I had to go look myself. Boy you don't see much detail in my photography ablility. I will get a better close up on that for you. I went to look at that too, and it still is not that clear. There is a horse shoe around the crab and then a flip flop letter "S" on each side. To thank a frined Susan Saxe who lent me a watch that was her husbands grandfathers so I could paint it. I have no reason to put that watch in the painting. That is what was in my dream I had to paint.
