:) Beautiful, Linda. The pot seems a little 2D, I think, as if it were just painted onto the background, whereas the Hare and the cherries are very lively and real. But, it doesn't detract too much from the painting, so nice job. :+fav::thumbsup:

Thank you for helping me smile. :)
Wow, another amazing piece of art, so detailed... I like the light and the realistic look of the bowl !!!

Nicely done Linda!
I like the way you've softened the background right down to emphasize the subject matter.

Devil cracked the earthly shell, foretold she was the one,
Blew hope into the room and said: 'You have to live before you die young.'
The flat perspective really adds a mysterious touch. I love the background colors & values and the scruffy lagomorph is very well rendered!

Clever...this reminds me of the old Dutch still life paintings.

Jack ( rabbit ) & pot with the three cherries ... You are a clever one Linda.

What freaks me out is how between the Grouper and now the jack rabbit they are both things on my agenda to either paint or draw. I've done a mock up for a monument design aimed for the prairies that has a jack rabbit sitting under an old wagon wheel that leaning up against a fence.

I've been doing a lot of abstract painting lately. Extremely abstract. No brush, no paint, no canvas. I just think about it.
Oh - now I finally know the meaning of the word "jackpot"1
Sorry, my mouse moved too fast.

I love the colours and the soft background, and the rabbit somehow reminds me of a picture book I had when I was a little girl...
The hare looks amazing!
