I first had a vision of this with just a pear and a catarpiller and wanted to make it a larger painting. That evolved into this. The arch way is the same that I used in "Sheldon Hatching The Egg". The eggs are a chicken egg and a Whooping Crane Egg.

A really great piece of art and a fantastic title! It's amazing that a composition like that is so well balanced although some details are not in balance! :clap:

i love this !the of senter doorway draws the viwer in to this world of metamorphisis making me ask about my own maturity .
the egg seems to be levitated there .
the over all reminds me of a more optimistiv view of hope for the flowers.
