Commission painting for a University of South Carolina fan. Their mascot is the gamecock and their rival are the tigers. The painting has South Carolina's state tree, flower, and butterfly.

The collectors also have also perchased other paintings of mine and this is to off set in their home "Safe With His Head In the Clouds".

The painting is 30 x 15

I got a better image of it up now.

Hi there! Ah, you know your chickens. Yes that is a Satsumadori from that area. Fighting bird. I hate animal fights so I told them I would do it as if it already won and looked proud. They liked that idea as well. Thanks for the fav. on it! - Linda

Yes I do my dear...there are dozens of cockfight arenas here, bloody cruel, even though there are laws that ban it, people here are affixed to tradition, we inherited them from the spanish conquistadores....nice concept you did, it justified the cause you are trying to promote
